Comrade Legionnaires, if you didn’t make the last meeting, we had a very sobering Financial Report from our Finance Officer. Bottom line is that we are losing money and it’s not sustainable. In short, ever since COVID, costs have risen, which is natural, but our income hasn’t kept pace with it. Now there are actions we have taken to get back in the black but as they say this is an “all hands on deck” situation.

Now the natural question is, what can I do to help? Well, aside from frequenting the Post and its fundraisers like Sunday morning breakfast, we all need to be salesmen for it. We need to let our neighbors know that they have a great event facility that is very reasonable to rent and in their backyard for all sorts of functions. Additionally, I am going to ask you to get more involved in the operational costs. By that I mean you may know someone who would give us a discount and help save us money. Little things do add up.

Finally, I want to end by saying thank you for your service. When our country called, you answered. And now your Post is calling. See you at the Post.
