This will be my final article.  As those who regularly attend the post meetings know I have accepted an assignment with my church in Missouri and will be leaving California around the firist of the year.  The new Chaplain Is Tom Cruz.  In my closing remarks I would like to remind all of you, that as American Legion members the greatest way we can support our post is to attend the monthly meetings and be involved in the business of the post. The post is currently in a postion that if more people do not get more involved in the post it may be required to close.  It has been my pleasure to be a member of post 149 for 22 years and serve as a post officer for most of those years.  After I move I will always retain fond memories of those years.   I will continue to pray for all of you and the post.  REmember that the first pillar of the legion is God and Country so please always keep that formost in your minds.  Farewell and God Bless.
