Hello Legionnaires,

I will be out of the country on vacation until the end of December. If you have any questions or concerns during this time, please direct them to the Commander or the 1st Vice Commander.

As many of you have heard, I will be stepping down as Adjutant as I begin the next chapter of my life—retirement. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve Post 149 in this role. Rest assured, I am not leaving Post 149. I will be here to train and guide the new Adjutant and will remain active in other areas of the Post. The Commander will begin the search for my replacement and has a detailed list of Adjutant duties prepared.

A huge thank-you goes out to all our Legion Family who stepped up and invested countless hours of effort to make this year’s North County VETFEST the best one yet. We saw record sponsorships, attendance, vendors, and parade entries. Without your dedication and the hard work of all our volunteers, none of this would have been possible.

A reminder that dues for the 2026 membership year are due by December 31st to remain current. During my absence, the 1st Vice Commander will be processing memberships. Memorials are offered on a donation basis; however, Celebration of Life events are charged at the standard rental rate.
